Kimberly Bridi
Kim is a brain-body therapist who specializes in trauma, chronic pain, substance use, and treatment-resistant conditions. She has significant training in clinical as well as alternative modalities, including Pain Reprocessing Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, various exposure therapies, yoga, ayurveda, and Thai Yoga Therapy. With more than 15 years of experience serving clients in private practice, forensic, agency, and hospital settings, she specializes in adapting and individualizing treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients.
Kim was hired as the Department of Defense’s first clinical yoga therapist in its start-up Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic. Working with a team of MDs, OTs, PTs,
chiropractors, and acupuncturists, she collaborated on programming, taught skills groups, and developed specific mind-body interventions to help clients return to duty without the use of opioids. As part of the Project ECHO team, she consulted with medical providers nationwide to help plan interventions for difficult cases. She’s spoken at conferences, hospitals, and government settings, as well as trained therapists, medical providers, and rehabilitation
professionals about chronic pain, trauma, and the nervous system. Her clinical curriculums have been used in the court system and partnering agencies to address co-occurring disorders. Her mind-body protocols have been integrated into Military Medicine, the VA, hospitals, and community programs.
She is thrilled to work as a pain therapist for Menda Health and apply her experience, training, and expertise to Menda’s best-in-class pain treatment protocol.
